Hello!

I have a few white hens that Im looking to sell, and Im curious about their breed. They have a slight build similar to Leghorns, but they lay green eggs. Im not sure what breed they could be, but I thought someone here might know.

If anyone has any guesses or recognizes this breed based on the description, please let me know!

Id appreciate any information, and feel free to reach out if youre interested in purchasing some of these hens. Thanks!

It sounds like you might have Easter Eggers! They're often mistaken for Leghorns because of their slim build and white feathers, and they're known for laying green, blue, or even pink eggs.

Based on your description, I'd say they're probably Easter Eggers. They have a variety of appearances, but their egg color is the big giveaway. If they lay green eggs, they're definitely worth checking out as a potential match.

It's definitely possible they're Easter Eggers. These hens often have a similar body type to Leghorns but are mixed with other breeds like Ameraucanas to produce colored eggs. Green eggs are common with Easter Eggers.

You might have some White Easter Eggers. They can look a lot like Leghorns with their white feathers and slim build, but they lay colorful eggs like green or blue.

I think you're right to guess Easter Eggers, especially considering the green egg trait. These hens are often bred from different types of chickens, and their build can be quite similar to Leghorns. They're great layers of colorful eggs.

I had a hen that looked just like a Leghorn and laid green eggs, and she turned out to be an Easter Egger. They are often bred from a mix of different breeds, so their appearance can vary.

The white hens with a Leghorn-like build and green eggs are most likely Easter Eggers. They are bred for their ability to lay colorful eggs, and their body type can resemble the Leghorn, especially in white variants.

It's possible you have a White Ameraucana or a similar hybrid. Ameraucanas are known for laying blue or green eggs, and some have a build that resembles Leghorns, especially if they're bred for production.
