Hi everyone, Im looking for some advice. I was away for 8 hours today and checked the humidity before I left; it was at 63%. I also made sure the water reservoir was full. However, when I came home, I found the humidity had dropped to 47%. There was no pipping yet, but I raised the humidity back up to where it should be. Im wondering if that few hours at a lower humidity, especially towards the end of day 20, could cause any issues for the eggs. Should I be concerned? Thanks for any advice!
In my experience, brief fluctuations in humidity won't ruin your hatch, but they can slow things down. Keep it steady now, and be ready to adjust if needed. If pipping doesn't happen soon, I'd check the eggs' position and ensure everything else is good.

I had a similar situation during my last hatch, and the eggs hatched just fine. The dip in humidity isn't ideal, but you're still in the safe zone. You can make up for lost humidity now, but do watch it closely as you get closer to lockdown.

The drop to 47% could stress the eggs a bit, but it sounds like it was just for a few hours. I think they'll be okay as long as the humidity is back in range. Just be prepared to adjust and watch it carefully as you approach the hatching stage.

It's hard to say for sure, but I think the drop in humidity probably won't affect your hatch. My incubator has done the same thing, and I still got a good hatch rate. If you're able to maintain stable humidity now, that's the most important thing.
