Snakes are usually after food or shelter. Make sure there are no rodents around and keep the area clear of hiding spots.

Pine shavings are a lifesaver,soft on their feet, control odor well, and stay fairly dry even after rain.

Virkon S works best when left to dry completely. No need to rinse unless animals will have direct contact. For daily use, try an accelerated hydrogen peroxide spray.

Chicks develop at different rates, but I usually introduce sunflower seeds after 7 weeks. The hulls can be tough, so it helps to crush or shell them first.
