I’m new to integrating chickens and could really use some advice.
I’m trying to introduce my two 11-week-old Salmon Faverolle pullets to my flock.
But it’s been a challenge.
The older hens are pecking at them, and the pullets keep hiding in corners.
I’ve ensured they have food and water and they’re sleeping in the coop to stay warm.
But they seem so scared.
Any tips to make this process smoother for them?

Add multiple food and water stations to reduce competition.
Give the pullets more chances to eat and drink without being chased off.

Place hiding spots like small crates or branches in the run so the pullets can escape if they feel threatened. It helps them feel safer while they adjust.

Try using a see-but-don’t-touch setup for a few more days.
Separating them with a barrier lets the older hens get used to the pullets without direct contact.

Introduce them during free-range time if possible. The extra space can reduce aggression and help the flock interact more naturally.
